Delete your account

You can delete your LightHouse account, made by Starlight AI Inc., at any time. You don't need to contact us.

In the app

1. Open LightHouse and go to Me → Settings → Account.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

It happens straight away. If you can't open the app, email avash@starlightaiinc.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll do it within 30 days and tell you when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account: your email address and the hash of your password.
• Your closet backup on our server, including its photos.
• Your subscription record. A card subscription (Stripe) is cancelled. A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play has to be cancelled in that store, because they bill you, not us.

What is kept

• Everything on your phone (closet, looks, history) stays until you delete the app.
• Reports you sent about something the stylist said are kept, without your email, and deleted 12 months after you sent them.
• A count of the free stylist requests used on your phone, stored under a one-way hash, so deleting the account doesn't reset the free tries.
• Payment records held by Stripe, Apple or Google, for as long as the law requires them to keep them.
• Crash reports, which never included your account, deleted 90 days after they were sent.
• Our hosting provider's standard request logs, which expire after a short period.

Deleting some data without deleting the account

• Your backup: Me → Settings → Backup → Moving to a new phone? → Delete my backup from the server. It's removed straight away.
• What goes to the AI: Me → Settings → Privacy → turn off the AI stylist.
• Anything else: email avash@starlightaiinc.com. We'll answer within 30 days.
