Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Starlight AI Inc. ("we") and cover your use of the LightHouse app and service. By using LightHouse you agree to them.

What LightHouse is

LightHouse suggests outfits, plans and purchases using AI. Suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong, for example about the weather, what goes together, or whether a product is available. Use your own judgement, especially for anything that matters to your safety or comfort, like dressing for severe weather.

Your account and content

You need an account to use LightHouse. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You're responsible for what you add to the app, including making sure you have the right to use any photos you add. You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to process it only to run the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use LightHouse to break the law, to upload content that isn't yours to share, to try to get around its limits or security, or to overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Subscriptions

Your closet, laundry, looks and backups are free to keep and use. Everything done by the AI (adding clothes from photos, outfits, plans, trips, colors, shopping and trends) needs a LightHouse Stylist subscription: $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year in the US, or the price shown in your store elsewhere. A first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial; you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then, and each person gets one trial. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time: in the US through Me → Settings → Subscription, or in your App Store or Google Play account (cancel at least 24 hours before a trial or period ends to avoid the next charge there). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the trial or the period you've paid for. Purchases through Apple or Google follow their refund rules; for card payments, contact us and we'll look at any reasonable request. Deleting your account cancels a card subscription; a store subscription has to be cancelled in the store. We'll tell you before any price change applies to you.

Shopping and other sites

Shopping suggestions link to other stores. We don't sell anything, aren't responsible for those sites, and any purchase is between you and the store.

Availability

We may change, pause or stop features. We'll try to give notice of significant changes. Keep a backup if your closet matters to you.

Disclaimers and liability

LightHouse is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for LightHouse in the month before the claim (nothing, if you paid nothing).

Ending

You can stop using LightHouse and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
